B-Roads
The Milk
WE SAY
The Milk's deft spin on contemporary soul has led to their recent signing to Sign Of The Times, a ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ nomination at the UK Festival Awards and a host of influential fans. The new label is a joint venture between Sony Music UK, Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment and Dougie Bruce. We first featured the band back in September 2010 with a demo of what became their debut single (All I Wanted Was) Danger. The Essex band had a whirlwind summer, picking up overwhelmingly positive press from the likes of The Guardian, Neon Gold and NME, whilst playing sold out shows at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, Jazz Cafe, XOYO and Barfly, before culminating in a homecoming performance at Chelmsford's V Festival. The fantastic B-Roads is picking up support from Zane Lowe and Mistajam on Radio 1, Xfm Evening Playlist and some great regional support including Bauer Network Chosen One and Juice FM ROTW this week.
