One Day
The Juan MacLean
WE SAY
Comparisons to The Human League are justified on The Juan Maclean's excellent second album The Future Will Come. As Simon Price in the Independent on Sunday noted in his review 'Lyrically, Juan is almost the equal of a (James) Murphy or an Oakey'. One Day - with that lovely synth line pulsating through it - is one of many highlights on the record, which features the vocals of Nancy Whang (LCD Soundsystem) throughout. It has been warmly received from NME, Observer Music Monthly, Moho, Clash and many more. A UK tour will follow their appearance at the Ether Festival this Sunday. JF. London gig: April 19, Ether09: Queen Elizabeth Hall SE1 / April 28, White Heat at Madame JoJos W1
