Reason To Retreat
The Gunshy
WE SAY
We like to think we listen to everything that's sent to us or we find, but we've excelled ourselves here. This track was a hidden track at the end of a sampler CD two of us picked up at SXSW and both of us separately 'discovered' it. The appeal is obvious, from lone husky voice progressing to violin-soaked triumphant finale, there's a tune wringing with passion. A potential smash - not bad for a song that appears to be about suicide.
