Til I'm Dust

The Guild

Free Construction

WE SAY

The Guild are a four-piece from Sheffield and this is their debut single. Til I'm Dust is a song of almost operatic intensity that connects immediately. It's worthy of repeated listens and for that measure, radio plays. All of the tracks we've heard so far echo with an accomplished air and brim with style and passion. Yes, the sound for this record could be mistaken on first listen as rather Coldplay/Keane, but their influences and breadth of talent does not stop at that depth. As their Drowned in Sound profile puts it, The Guild sound like "Matt Bellamy and Chris Martin walking hand-in-hand on an autumn's day”. Free Construction (their manager's label) will release the debut. We expect big things to happen for The Guild. JF
