The Good Natured
WE SAY
It has been a long journey for The Good Natured since we first featured them as an unsigned act back in 2008, but debut album Prism is finally due this summer, and on the strength of what we've heard it's well worth the wait. Since signing to Parlophone in 2011, the band spent last year recording with John Hill (Santigold), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding), Richard X (Sugababes) and Patrick Berger (Robyn, Icona Pop), whose production chops can be heard here on Lovers. This fresh-sounding modern pop track builds nicely on debut single 5-HT, radio champions for which included Huw Stephens, Sara Cox and Eddy Temple-Morris. Following a string of dates with Imagine Dragons, including a sterling performance at HMV Forum last night (April 11), the band now embark on a clutch of headline UK shows and festival appearances. The video premiered on Clash on Wednesday.
