Lucky Ones
The Dunwells
WE SAY
Leeds four-piece The Dunwells have developed their sound over the past few years into one that's now big, bold and even, at times, heroic. Filled with optimism and confidence, this title track from their forthcoming EP has a rather striking chorus that is both inspiring and anthemic. Led by brothers Joseph and David Dunwell, the band gigged across the States at the end of 2014 to sell-out audiences whilst promoting their Show Me Emotion EP. Produced by Stephen Harris who's worked with Kodaline, Kaiser Chiefs and The Wombats, the tracks from it notched up more than 1.2 million Spotify streams. In the last few months they've completed successful UK & US tours and are now gearing up for the summer festival season whilst prepping their debut album, which is due in September. With support in the past from Radio 2 and 6 Music as well as BBC Introducing, there’s no doubt that this latest track will build on that even further. Take a listen. They have the tenacity and spirit to become a very big band over the next few months.
