The Cadillac Three

Fresh from a superbly-received set at Download Festival yesterday (June 11), Nashville-based The Cadillac Three are gearing up for the release their album Legacy on August 25 and this is a wonderful first taster from it. Country and Southern Rock make great bedfellows here because their songs, playing and production are always magnificently well crafted and lyrically honest. These guys nail all those qualities just perfectly. Their UK following continues to build, having played here last year, beginning with Camden’s Electric Ballroom in February, then upgrading to Shepherd’s Bush Empire on their return in November. Radio 2’s Bob Harris had them in for a session, but they’ve also big support from Planet Rock and Classic Rock too. Frontman Jaren Johnston co-writes for many other Nashville artists and even collaborated with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler on his 2016 country project. They’re just about to announce an eight-date UK tour for the autumn taking in Kentish Town Forum on November 14. Fresh, cool, and instantly likeable, huge mainstream success here for these boys looks assured.
