The Bang Bang Club
WE SAY
Formerly part of a band called Protocol (who were signed to Polydor), The Bang Bang Club were a very pleasing accidental discovery for us at The Great Escape in Brighton last month. Early support from has come from Popjustice ("Their tunes are ambitious modern pop moments.."), Sheena Beaston and Electroqueer. A media performance is lined up for next week and an album is ready to go. 'Plants and Animals' and 'This Must Be Love' both sound like future radio hits in addition to this strong first outing. London gig: June 8, Freedom Bar W1 (18:30)
