Exploring the feelings of falling in love and wishing for time to slow down, ‘Walk Me Home’ is the soulful second single from Paris-born, London-based singer-songwriter Thaïs Ray. The song follows the RotD-featured indie-pop-tinged debut 'Lights are Dancing', which has amassed over 43k streams since it was released earlier this year. Released last week, the track blends a warm piano melody with bluesy guitar riffs, folk elements and a rich production to offer a reflective and hopeful message. Deserving of additions to mellow pop playlists at DSPs and spins at Radio 1, 2, and 6 Music, ‘Walk Me Home’ further shows her as an artist to keep an eye on for the future. Inspired by artists like Birdy, Lake Street Dive and Olivia Dean, Thaïs is set to release her debut EP at the end of the year and is currently seeking management representation, alongside publishing. Having performed at Notting Hill Arts Club in March, Thaïs will be taking her band to Paris to perform at Les Disquaires on Wednesday (3 July) and is planning future shows in London ahead of her EP launch.
