London-based, but originally from Australia’s magnificent Sunshine Coast, Tempesst neatly blend all the best kinds of folky psychedelic rock from your favourite bands like The Flaming Lips, Spiritualized and even the mighty Beach Boys into a tasty musical cocktail. Set to be treasured by today’s cool hip audience with one eye on the past, and another looking ahead to what the future has in store for us all, this beautifully-conceived title track to their latest album has already notched up many positive reviews across the board from the FT, through NME, DIY Magazine, Clash, The Line Of Best Fit and Gigwise. Their previous releases have been strongly supported by Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamacq at 6 Music as well as Jack Saunders at Radio 1, and we feel assured that their current work will see their profile grow even further. Take a listen, and you’ll immediately be transported into a cinematic dreamscape of wide-open vistas and carefree lazy days. Live shows are scheduled for March 2021 including a London date at Omeara.
