Teitur, an artist from The Faroe Islands, is currently playlisted on 6Music, XFM and Absolute with debut UK single 'Catherine The Waitress'. He releases his first album 'The Singer' in the UK next month and this will be a future single. Positive press in all the monthly music mags and a Breaking Act feature in The Sunday Times , along with radio sessions lined up with Mark Radcliffe at R2, George Lamb at 6Music, John Kennedy at XFM, Absolute and Q radio in the next few weeks all point to a healthy beginning to the campaign. 'The Singer' is the first of two albums from Teitur to be released this year, with far more quality material from this interesting artist to surface in the UK in 2009.
