Closest Thing to Heaven

Tears for Fears

Gut

WE SAY

Apparently, Tears For Fears got together to discuss their reunion and said "Above all, let's make sure that this time, we make the album quickly". Several years later and it's finally released. The delay isn't all their doing - LA Reid signed the band to a worldwide deal at Arista then left the company, causing the album to be pulled shortly before release. In came Gut to snap up the rights and we reckon it could prove to be a great signing for both band and label. As for the music, it was worth the wait. This is a superior, soulful, adult pop single.
