Starting our final week of Ones To Watch 2025 before Christmas is rising country star, Tanner Adell. Brought up between the coast of Manhattan Beach, California and the rustic charm of Star Valley, Wyoming, Tanner weaves tales of her upbringing in her lyricism with a country soundscape infused with an addictive blend of pop and hip-hop beats. Last year, her debut mixtape, ‘Buckle Bunny’ saw Tanner breakout onto the scene and earn praise from the New York Times, NPR, Billboard, Paper and more. This helped her amass over 1.5m fans and play festivals around the world, including C2C here in the UK earlier this year. 2024 also saw Tanner feature on Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ album on the emotive cover of ‘Blackbird’, release her ‘Drunk In Love (Apple Music Sessions)’, record a Colors session for her track ‘Religion’ and release her first single on LVRN Records - this absolute foot stomping Country-pop crossover track, ‘Cowboy Break My Heart’. In September, she released her latest single, ‘Silverado’ and returned to the UK to play a sold-out headline Hackney Oslo show. Her brand of pop and hip-hop infused country music has seen Tanner establish herself in the US and, this year, made a mark on the country scene here in the UK with her performances and songs. She is set to return to the UK again in March for C2C, but we reckon there is plenty of love for her brand of country here in the UK for a full tour, making her one to watch in 2025.
