Back in 2021, we featured Nigerian-born, London-based artist Tamaraebi and his irresistibly woozy dose of hazy experimental R&B/soul in ‘Brown Angel’. Since then, he has dropped his ‘Spectrum’ EP project and has received tastemaker support from the Evening Standard, the Independent, Clash, Notion, Trench, The Line Of Best Fit and Gal-Dem. Along with editorial support at Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, as well as plays on Radio 1, BBC London, BBC Wales, BBC Leeds, Jazz FM and Amazing Radio. This evocative gospel-tinged song is his latest single and channels Prince's allure alongside Frank Ocean's introspective style.
