Move

Talk Like Tigers

Neon North

WE SAY

Sisterly duo Talk Like Tigers shape a rather gorgeous dose of ethereal synth-pop in their latest release Move. Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, Charlotte and Stephanie follow their debut release Fruit, which was premiered by Tom Robinson on 6 Music, with this their second single on their label Neon North. Co-produced with John Martindale and mixed by Cecile Desnos (Let’s Eat Grandma, Jungle), Move is a beautifully warm and spacious number, full of delicate synth melodies, plucked violin motifs, and their lush, intertwining velvety vocals. The track has been named Single of the Month in Crack Magazine and has picked up radio support and plays from BBC Introducing North East, BBC Introducing Tees, and Amazing Radio. Earlier this summer they played at Glastonbury Festival and at the Sage Gateshead as part of the Great Exhibition of the North and will return to play their this November, as well as a headline show in Newcastle at Kaleidoscope (16 November). Talk Like Tigers are currently seeking label interest, as well as live representation and management enquiries. Hypnotic and ethereal synth pop for fans of Bjork, The xx and Aurora.
