Just Music (South Africa only)
WE SAY
Tailor's follow up to the RotD featured debut provides another display of the South African singer's versitility, with nods to Feist, Patti Smith and PJ Harvey. Since we last featured the songstress back at the start of July she's picked up keen interest on both sides of the Atlantic from labels, booking agents, management companies and music supervisors. Debut single Wolf has gone from picking up a few spot plays to over 120 on US radio in just eight weeks. Much of her first full length release - The Dark Horse - is centred around the need to escape, with Taylor writing Indian after watching the Josef Fritzl case unfold on TV. Video.
