Equal parts pop and experimentation, Tachys is made up of Danish artists Jonas Bjerre (Mew, Apparatjik) and Tobias Wilner (Blue Foundation, New York United, Ghost Society). The duo produce a blossoming dream-pop sound, filled with layers of textural electronics, catchy melodies and driving beats. Having already received praise and support for their early singles from Lauren Laverne (6 Music), Brooklyn Vegan, Under The Radar, Wonderland, Cool Hunting and more, Tachys released its eponymous debut album last week. This haunting and atmospheric track featuring LA-based Malaysian singer Yuna (known for her work with Usher, Pharrell & Tyler, The Creator) is just one of the many beautiful compositions on the album.
