WE SAY
Sunbirds come from LA, Paris and London and take their cue from 60s Americana - yet there's a distinctly British stamp on their debut EP, named after this excellently-crafted sunbeam of a lead track. Paul Lester, who featured them in The Guardian's New Band of the Day slot said River Run was 'definitely one of the tracks of the year so far'. There's a lot to like about their first outing on Smoky Carrot Records, catch Sunbirds at their EP launch next month. Video. London gig: July 17, Proud Gallery NW1
