WE SAY
Stornoway sound to us like a British response to US acts like Fleet Foxes, with a bit of XTC thrown in. Zorbing is a really charming debut and it grabbed us on first listen. After headlining the Radio 1 Big Weekend Introducing stage in Swindon, they'll play 4 different stages at Glastonbury this year. Radio support includes strong plays and planned sessions for 6Music and R1 evening shows. Press has come in the shape of a First Sight feature in The Guardian by Michael Hann and a forthcoming Q Magazine Next Big Thing feature. Currently recording a follow up single with Craig Silvey (Horrors, Magic Numbers, Portishead), Stornoway are available for records, publishing and a live agent.
