WE SAY
‘Queen’ is the new emotive piano ballad from RotD favourite Starling. Having worked with several seasoned producers and collaborators in London, Dublin and LA (including Patch Boshell, Ollie Green, FlashTheDeliveryGuy, & Pearse McIntyre) on new material, she returned in 2024 with ‘Cool Girl’ and now follows that up with this impactful single. With its touching piano melody and confident, clear vocals, the song is an uplifting, power-pop anthem destined for sync opportunities in film/TV and ad campaigns and pop ballad playlists at DSPs. Previous tastemaker support has come from Radio 1, Spotify, The Guardian, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, Wonderland and more. ‘Cool Girl’ and ‘Queen’ mark a new era for Starling and with her upcoming EP to be released in the New Year, it looks set to be an exciting one.
