Earlier this year, we introduced you to Starlight Alice, the new studio project from RotD-featured artists Luke Potter and Jacob Browne and their seriously catchy, foot-stomping debut ‘I Swear To God'. Having received fantastic feedback from tastemakers like Earmilk, Lefuturewave, IGGY and Country Music UK, to name just a few, the duo are back with their follow-up, ‘Impatient’, today (26 April). Co-written by Luke and Jacob, the duo, continue with their energetic blend of Americana, folk and pop for another standout single. Driven at first by a simple, melodic acoustic guitar melody, the track transcends into a high-energy country-pop anthem with fast, country guitars, foot-stomping beats and sumptuous harmonies. With its pop hooks and catchy chorus, the track would be the perfect addition to any country-pop editorial playlists at DSPs, alongside spins on Country Radio stations, Radio 1 and 2. With over 30m combined streams between them for their solo material, the duo have written and recorded three more singles as Starlight Alice and are looking to expand their promotions team for future releases. One to watch.
