I Swear To God (You’re Never Getting Out)

Starlight Alice is the new studio project from RotD-featured artists Luke Potter and Jacob Browne. Having worked together writing songs for others and their solo projects, Luke and Jacob decided it was time to work together on their own project. ‘I Swear To God (You’re Never Getting Out)' is their debut single, co-written and then produced by Luke at his Sweet Factory Studio. It’s a big, energetic blast of country pop driven by a lush acoustic guitar melody and foot-stomping beat that’s seriously infectious. Combine that with rich, gravelly and distinct vocals and harmonies between the duo, and you have a song that is perfect for spins at Country Radio stations, as well as Radio 1 and Radio 2. Plus, additions to country pop and energetic playlists at DSPs. Early online support has come from Earmilk, Lefuturewave, Lost In The Manor and more. With over 30m combined streams behind them, Luke and Jacob have hit on something with Starlight Alice – a UK twist and poppier version of acts like Dan + Shay and Florida Georgia Line. It may only be early days, but there is a lot of promise here.
