WE SAY
Formed by Phoebe Little and Jas Scott after meeting during a different musical project, SpaceAcre produce beautifully evocative music layered with haunting melodies, cinematic strings and heavy drums, topped by Phoebe’s spine tingling vocals. Over the past ten months, the duo have been releasing music from their new EP, ‘That Girl’, that culminated in the release of this beautifully moving song about grief yesterday (27 July). Building from stripped back guitar loops to a richly textured orchestral soundscape, ‘Say’ is a devastatingly emotional and powerful listen that showcases Phoebe’s vocals to full effect. Watch the stunning accompanying video here. The song is deserving of specialist plays at 6 Music and Radio 1, along with editorial playlist placement on emotional and moving contextual playlists. Tastemaker support for the duo has come from BBC Introducing, Wonderland, Dork, Lock Mag, Wolf In A Suit and more. An ethereal and moving ode.
