Virus
Sonic Boom Six
WE SAY
Sonic Boom Six return with a massive production that steps outside their familiar punk/ska mantel, offering a far more polished track with elements of Enter Shikari and Chase & Status. Virus sets the tone for their forthcoming eponymous album - due October 15 - with Rocksound already giving the album 8/10, noting the future of the band is huge, “crucially, the production here is monstrous and above all, ‘Sonic Boom Six’ is the sound of a band going big, when everyone else has gone home, and this is simply banger after banger”. The Jesse Davey (who has worked with Papa Roach, Gavin Rossdale (Bush)…) directed the video for the single which was funded with support from Jagermeister, Orange Amps and Gibson Guitars, picking up 20K+ views in only a few days. Having been one of the most exciting live bands in the UK they’ve finally transferred this to record with Virus. Video.
