Love is a Lottery is the latest single from 22 year old rising Reading rapper SONGER. It’s been an impressive twelve months for the artist with his 2021 mixtape, The Sunrise Project, organically streaming over 30m, a sold-out debut tour in under two hours – with an additional Omeara (20 November) date added due to demand, and collaboration with Bad Boy Chiller Crew. His sophisticated penmanship and conscious lyricism have caught the attention of tastemakers GRM Daily, Notion, Linkup TV, Mixtape Madness and BL@CBOX, while his music has now amassed over 50m streams across DSPs. Taken from his forthcoming EP Skala, this first instalment displays a vulnerable side to his lyricism with a personal recount of love. Smooth beats and honest bars are backed up with gospel harmonies for a sumptuous listen.
