Janie Jones

Songdog

unsigned

WE SAY

Imagine Springsteen if he was from South Wales, doing a solo acoustic cover of The Clash's Janie Jones... Magical, isn't it? Originally featured on Uncut magazine's Tribute To The Clash CD at the end of last year where Jonathan Ross (or more likely his producer Andy Davies) discovered it, and they've been playing it on Radio 2 with Jonathan declaring it 'beautiful'. Songdog's current album was released last year to rave reviews from Uncut, Mojo, Time Out and others. They're looking for the right record label to release their new album, which will include this cover.
