Echoing the woozy nonchalance of her debut EP Bored in Colour (Pt.1), Big Talk is the new single from RotD favourite SOFY. Having highlighted her playful lyricism in previous singles Strawberry Milkshake and Sorry That You’re Mine, her newest track sees her discuss small talk on dating apps with her signature sarcastic and witty observations. Backed by hazy pop production, the song immediately made an impact at DSPs, featuring on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Deezer’s new release programming, and we reckon this won’t be the last editorial playlists the track will appear on either. Plus, expect to hear this on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing London soon, having been championed on the stations before. Over the summer, the Leicester-born, London-based artist has played The Great Escape, Glastonbury, Truck Fest, Boardmasters and Latitude festivals, and this weekend will perform at Leeds festival.
