Something (To Make You Feel Alright)
Silosonic
WE SAY
We discovered this on the White Disc's CD compilation so thanks to them. It's a reworking of Breaking Down, a #15 hit for Julia & Company in 1984 (you can tell it's a melody from the Thriller era!). It was produced by Alex Marsh with help from Lowered Recording's Jules Spinner and a vocal from veteran Beverley Skeete. It has already been licensed for France, Italy and Australia but it's still available elsewhere. It's summery and commercial yet credible, and it could be huge.
