Changing
Sigma ft. Paloma Faith
WE SAY
The duo behind one of the biggest British dance singles of 2014 has hooked up with the artist who's got the biggest-selling British female album released so far this year. Sigma follow up their platinum-selling No.1 hit Nobody To Love with a track that could conceivably exceed the success of its predecessor, thanks to the wonderful vocal talents of the unique Paloma Faith. It's an inspired collaboration, first played on Radio 1 by Annie Mac last month. Since then it's been added to Capital's playlist six weeks upfront alongside Kiss FM and Kiss Fresh, Capital Xtra and Radio 1xtra too. The cool and colourful video is already finding favour across TV music channels and the song is sitting snugly inside the Shazam UK Top 30 overall, as well as being Top 10 on their pre-release chart. It's easy to hear why everyone is getting so excited about this track. Paloma seems to be universally loved and admired across all ages - her voice absolutely soars here, thanks to a crunchy, solid drum and bass-infused production which also uses a full live orchestra, making it utterly radio-friendly and likely to be ringing in your ears from now until Christmas. Play this once and then you'll want to repeat again over and over for the rest of the day. Likely to be one the biggest songs this year on sales, streaming and airplay, just watch it absolutely fly.
