Glitterball
Sigma ft. Ella Henderson
WE SAY
Two of the UK’s most successful breakthrough acts of 2014 combine here for one monster track. Sigma joins forces with Ella Henderson for the duo’s third collaborative single after former-featured Record of the Day tracks Higher with Labrinth and the superb No.1 Changing with Paloma Faith. They’ve got a ridiculously-packed summer schedule of festival appearances lined-up following their set at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Norwich. Just back from EDC in Vegas, they take in Glastonbury, T In The Park, V, Creamfields and Hideout here in the UK along with extensive Ibiza dates too. Glitterball sees the lads team up once more with songwriter Wayne Hector, who also worked with them on their two recent hits. In just ten months, they’ve sold over 1.75 million singles worldwide, putting them up amongst the ten-biggest British musical exports of last year. That winning formula of radio-friendly hooks and an instantly-appealing chorus is back again here. On the evidence of this hot new summer anthem, when their debut album finally arrives, it should be a scorcher.
