Riverside (Let's Go!)
Sidney Samson ft. Wizard Sleeve
WE SAY
Already a YouTube phenomenon, racking up in excess of 10 million views, Sidney Samson's Tupac-quoting tune looks like breaking through from club hit (it has been massive in European resorts all year) to mainstream success. Daytime plays on Radio 1 have come from all the right people including Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Fearne Cotton and Scott Mills, who currently has it as his Record of the Week. The track was also added to the Kiss playlist eight weeks upfront. It's currently at No2 on Shazam's Pre-Release Tag Chart, another good indication of both club success and radio potential. Vocals on this version are provided by US rap duo Wizard Sleeve, their version started life as a bootleg which Ministry cleared. It lends it the edge needed to replicate the success of previous crossover smashes like Kid Cudi Vs Crookers. JF
