WE SAY
SI EVOL are a Stockholm-based duo crafting timeless, heartfelt music that celebrates love, freedom and emotional authenticity. Formed in early 2024 by Malte Höglund and Peteris Strante, the duo draws inspiration from the acoustic warmth of the ’70s and blends it with dreamy synth layers, atmospheric textures and welcoming tones to create a nostalgic yet modern sonic soundscape. With a name that reflects their ethos — SI EVOL is “LOVE IS” spelt backwards, their releases, including this soothing and welcoming folk-tinged ode, have seen the duo make waves in their native Swedish. They’ve earned a Rookie of the Year nomination at the 2024 Denniz Pop Awards and caught the interest of labels, agencies and promoters. Next week (14 April), SI EVOL will be in the UK for their first UK showcase event at the George Tavern in London, so if you want to see what the fuss is about, we highly recommend you pop down.
