WE SAY
Last time we featured Sheare back in the spring with his addictive electro pop nugget Eyes, we were delighted to hear Graham Norton pick up on the track and play it on his Saturday morning Radio 2 show soon after. We've been keeping a close tab on Brandon ever since and are excited that he's spent the past few months crafting several new tracks, which he's set to release independently over the coming months, beginning with this. His love of quality '80s synth-pop shines through once more and his knack of writing cool hooks and immediate choruses grows with every track we hear from him. There are two forthcoming US gigs at The Fold in LA, supporting Paper Route, tomorrow (October 28) and back in his home neighbourhood at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York on December 7. No UK dates are yet planned, although we'd love to see him in London early in the new year as we're utterly convinced such a great writer and musician will find a welcoming audience for this and his other fine songs, both here and across Europe.
