Following on from last month’s RotD-featured brilliantly slacker pop-inspired anthem ‘Weekend’, Brooklyn-based producer Jake Muskat, aka Sea Glass, is back with this introspective but warming indie number. With its serene instrumentation, shimmering synths, and Hawaiian guitar motif, all wrapped up in 90s nostalgic sheen, ‘Never Right’ sees Jake team up with Yes Kid to deliver a laid back alt gem. The track is perfect for those relaxed alt contextual playlists at DSPs and spins on specialist radio shows on Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6 Music. Previous tastemaker support has come from Indie Shuffle, Wonderland, The Wild Honey Pie and more.
