Kick It
Scrufizzer
WE SAY
This assured banger from Scrufizzer goes a long way towards justifying the hype that's seen him labeled the new Dizzee Rascal. It's been bubbling up in all the right circles; a great sync on Soccer AM, 1Xtra 'Weekend Anthem' and sitting pretty on the Rinse A-list, not to mention a host of plays on Radio 1 and now up to B-list on 1Xtra. The latter of which had Scru play their Reading and Leeds stage to an overwhelmingly exuberant crowd. This is clearly a club smash, and with mixes to come from Zed Bias and Marshall F, supported by an extended mix of the original the plot is shaping up nicely. The next few months are going to be pivotal and on the basis of Kick It, Scrufizzer stands every chance of making some big inroads into the commercial grime scene.
