I Am A Miner's Son
Saul Ashby
WE SAY
Saul Ashby is a 22-years-old singer songwriter from London, but based in New York having recently completed a scholarship at Berklee College of Music. One blogger has likened his sound to Tiny Dancer-era Elton John, which is high praise in our book. What we've heard showcases a confident, lulling voice and lyrically he has the makings of a very skilled songwriter. His debut EP will be made available next month. There's enough promise in the tracks we've heard so far to urge you down to Ginglik for his gig tonight. Saul Ashby is available for records and publishing. JF London gig: 07 November Ginglik W12 (Stage time: 8.30pm)
