I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker
Sandi Thom
WE SAY
We first featured this track in October 2004, when things were quite different for Scottish singer-songwriter Sandi Thom. She is the first UK signing for the RCA Label Group and Craig Logan's first signing as MD. Sandi has attracted really useful media attention with her unique and ultimately successful strategy of playing a series of gigs webcast from her flat in Tooting. Features in The Sunday Times and The Guardian and appearances on GMTV and BBC News are just the start. Her forthcoming debut album Smile, It Confuses People further demonstrates her arresting voice and witty, incisive writing. Originally championed by Johnnie Walker on Radio 2 to huge reactions, it is now on their playlist. We've always known this is a potential smash in the vein of JCB by Nizlopi. Make it happen, RCA!
