At The Laundr-O-mat

Samantha Murphy

unsigned

WE SAY

Samantha Murphy's sassy, refined pop sound has, gladly for us, breezed it's way onto our radar. Laundr-O- Mat chimes with a pop sensibility and demonstrates the technical abilities of someone who has grown up in the music business – her family were country-folk clan The Murphy’s, who supported Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson in the 1970's. Samantha's now doing her own thing, and is a text book example of an artist using online presence to launch a career. She presents a audio/video podcast, SMTV, which showcases new singer songwriter talent. Her first album, Somewhere between Starving and Stardom is sold through exclusively through her website. She is available worldwide for recording and publishing.
