You May Not Mean To Hurt Me (But You Do)
Sam Sallon
WE SAY
London-born artist Sam Sallon has been busy gigging over the past year with the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Nouvelle Vague, Joan As Policewoman, Fionn Regan and others. This demo recording (courtesy of EMI Music Publishing) showcases some skilled guitar work and sweet, memorable writing. 2,000 copies of his first EP (which this song doesn't feature on) sold out via MySpace, mail order and at live shows. Sam is unsigned for records and publishing. Catch him tonight in special surroundings if you’re in London, as label interest understandably builds in this young talent. JF London gig: 12 June, St Barnabas Church, Manette St W1
