Sam Carter
WE SAY
Sam Carter's self- released debut album Keepsakes comes out next month, and there's a lot to like about the deft touch applied by the promising London-based guitarist and songwriter, especially on brilliantly evocative tracks like this. With several spot plays already on Radio 2, the album release (through Proper Distribution) is followed by a UK tour in September. Specialist press has been forthcoming and further reviews and coverage in the monthly music press is expected. Sam is Emerging Artist in Residence at London's Southbank Centre. JF London Gig: September 9, The Luminaire NW6
