We are big fans of salute having previously featured his singles Castle, One More Chance (ft. D.R.A.M) and his massive summer anthem hit Light Up (ft. Liv Dawson). Drenched in soulful melodies and euphoric synths, his latest single, That Girl, features the gorgeous, soaring vocals of British singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin. With its intricate instrumentation and vibrant production the track effortlessly glides along to create an intimate and infectious slice of R&B inspired electronic pop. Taken from his forthcoming debut album in 2018 the track was premiered on Huw Stephens Radio 1 show, featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist in 12 countries and has so far clocked up over 260k streams. Further tastemaker support for salute has come from Dummy, Pitchfork, i-D, The Line of Best Fit and 1Xtra. salute is one of the most exciting emerging talents around and we can’t wait to hear what 2018 has in store for him.
