WE SAY
Irish duo Saint Sister have been on our radar since the release of their gorgeous debut EP, Madrid, back in 2015. At the time we were blown away by their stirring atmospheric folk but with the release of Twin Peaks, we are absolutely gobsmacked by the sheer beauty and expansiveness of this blissfully ethereal track. Interwoven harmonies float over lo-fi beats, gentle harp motifs and luscious vocal melodies in this soaring and emotive gem. Destined for atmospheric and chilled playlists, there is also an undeniable charm that we can also see garnering support at certain radio stations with the right push. Recorded with longtime co-producer Alex Ryan (Hozier) and mixed by Ruadhri Cushnan (Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons), the track was premiered by Billboard and has since featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday UK playlist, as well as on Earmilk, Hotpress, and Born Music. Later this year they will release their debut album Shape of Silence and head out on their first headline world tour taking in 11 countries over 30 dates. Instantly captivating and memorable. Simply glorious.
