WE SAY
It’s been 18 months since we last featured London-based artist Saint Joshua and his soulful jammer ‘Palo Santo’. Since then, he has released two EPs, amassed over 13m combined streams, and received airplay from Radio 1 (Jack Saunders), 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Apple Music and BBC London. Alongside this, he was awarded PRS Momentum funding, nominated for Best Independent EP/Mixtape at this year’s AIM Awards and included in Complex’s Best UK R&B and Soul act in 2023. Plus, his music has received praise from Notion, Wonderland, Clash, and more. Released last Friday (18 August), ‘Blah Blah Blah’ is another smooth R&B jam and is taken from his new project to be released next year. On Sunday, the song received its first airplay on Radio 1’s Future Soul show and this Saturday, Joshua will be featured in Ticketmaster’s New Music for a week. Next month, will see Joshua head out on his debut headline UK tour and will play The Grace in London on 26 September.
