Sly
Saibh Skelly
WE SAY
In March, we introduced you to rising pop artist Saibh (pronounced "Sive") Skelly and her brilliant pop nugget ‘Superficial’. The track saw the Dublin teenager pick up support from Radio 1 with spins on Mollie King’s Future Pop and Jack Saunders shows, along with massive support on Irish radio, including Gemma Bradley on BBC Northern Ireland. The track has since been played over 500 times on Irish radio. Having supported Hozier at his intimate Dublin shows in April and played a sold-out headline show in the city to mark the release of her first EP of self-written material, ‘Saibh X Five’, Saibh is now back with this sassy and fresh summer jam. Co-written and produced by Ash Howes (Gabrielle Aplin, Kylie) and Olivia Sebastianelli (Cosmic Gate, Purple Disco Machine), ‘Sly’ is an honest, modern pop earworm, primed for mainstream airplay and DSP pop playlists. Watch the video here. Saibh Kelly continues to impress us with her talent, and with over 6m views on YouTube and 3.5m on TikTok, we are not the only ones.
