Monsters
Saara Aalto
WE SAY
Having impressed us back in 2016 with her bombastic performances and vocals as the runner-up on the X Factor, Finnish singer Saara Aalto is back with her debut international single and Finland’s Eurovision 2018 entry, Monsters. It’s everything we would expect from the artist. Big, bold and full of emotion. The track has already achieved gold status in her home country, whilst amassing over 2.3 million Spotify streams and 2.1 million YouTube views, as well as charting in 11 countries on Spotify and iTunes (including UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Netherlands). She recently dropped this acoustic video performance of her playing the piano and singing the song in 34 Eurovision languages, which seriously shows just how versatile and talented an artist she is. With press features already confirmed and running from likes of The Sun, Daily Mail, Independent, Metro, Cosmopolitan and Attitude among others, Saara has a busy promo campaign ahead of her that will include a headline show on 25 April at Under The Bridge in London. Alongside her new music, Saara has over the past year fronted major UK and European wide campaigns for Lidl, Coca-Cola & Schwarzkopf, and with a growing European fanbase, it wouldn't surprise us to see her up the top come 12 May.
