Let us introduce you to the beautiful world of new electro-folk project Run Rivers fronted by Chris James, solo artist and former lead singer and key songwriter of electro-rock pioneers Stateless. Lost Love features Lorna Rose on backing vocals and combines Chris’ soft, warm vocals with atmospheric folk strumming, subtle electronica and stirring string arrangements by Matthew Kelly in this stunning debut release. Written and produced by Chris James with additional production and mix courtesy of Suneil Pusari (Michael Kiwanuka) the track builds on Chris’ love of folk and is inspired by songwriters such as Nick Drake and Bon Iver. Tastemaker support so far has come from The Line of Best Fit, Vents Magazine, Gold Flake Paint and many more. With Chris’ combined Stateless and solo material gaining around 20 million plays on Spotify and having been featured in Vampire Diaries, Suits, CSI and FILM 4 trailers we expect to see further syncs of his new project in the near future. The band are currently seeking a live agent having just recently played Stour Space and St Pancras Old Church.
