Feel The Love
Rudimental ft. John Newman
WE SAY
Rudimental mark themselves out as a massive part of the drum 'n' bass and dubstep revolution with this smash anthem. In Feel The Love the Hackney collective fuse next generation drum 'n' bass with dubstep and soul, taking as much of a traditional songwriting approach as they do an electronic one. The four-piece draw on Otis Redding-era soul: real Hammond organs, a killer bass riff and Staxx inspired live brass hooks, making for as good a pop song as you're likely to hear all year. Surrounded by an extended family of young fresh talent, John Newman takes up vocal duties here with emotion and conviction. This could well be one of the biggest hits of the summer with it exploding online, picking up a sharp boost on Radio 1 by leaping C to A, three week upfront, whilst it is currently iTunes's top pre-order.
