WE SAY
Rubik are a four piece from Helsinki. We were lucky enough to catch their engrossing live act in Finland last year. They have a glorious but dense melancholic sound that is epic in the mould of Sigur Ros, and also a heavier melodic strain which makes them unique in our book. In their native Finland they are signed to Fullsteam, who also signed previous RotD Finnish favourites Disco Ensemble and Sister Flo. They are booked to play The Great Escape in Brighton and a host of festivals around Europe this summer. This is the first single from their debut album, "Bad Conscience Patrol", released in Finland this month. They are available for records (ex Finland) and publishing.
