This dose of spangly synth-pop is the latest release from Nottingham's DIY singer, songwriter, bedroom-producer, remixer and video director, Ronika. The press can't get enough of her. Friday saw Ronika grace the front cover of the Guardian's Film & Music section as part of a wider piece on Nottingham's rising music scene (inside the paper, she was interviewed alongside Dog Is Dead and Liam Bailey). She's also just been interviewed by The Mirror, had a 'Breaking Act' feature in The Sunday Times, and this single got an 'On Repeat' tip from NME, who gave it a glittering review. As if that's not enough, Ronika sits at No.1 in the Popjustice Almighty Chart, amongst a wealth of blog support. Comparisons to Madonna are inevitable, but if Ronika can continue to write tracks this addictive she's sure to have a bright future on the radio. After a confident display live at Gold Dust (Hoxton Bar & Kitchen), Ronika's next show is her EP launch party. Video.
