WE SAY
This Australian four piece features Neighbours actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte on vocals. This was their first single as a four-piece (original duo James Ash and Steve Davis had a 2003 Top Ten hit in Australia by sampling INXS' Need You Tonight), and it reached number #4 in Australia, and #7 in New Zealand. Their two follow-up singles have also hit the top ten, and the album, Here Comes The Drums went triple platinum (over 210,000 copies) in their home territory. There as positive early signs for this record in the UK too, Radio 1 support has come from Pete Tong, with spot plays from Jo Whiley, and it has been added to a GCap playlist at Power FM. The re-recorded riff from Elvis Costello's Pump It Up deserves to be heard again, making this is a neat slice of credible electro rock. JF London Gigs: 11 & 12 July, Shepherds Bush Empire
